EDP coated steel panels used to form the wheelhouse over the rear wheel. The inner wheelhouse is the one you see inside the trunk. The outer wheelhouse mates up to the quarter panel in the wheel lip. If your quarters are rusty in the wheel opening, you need to replace these, too. These can be modified for convertible models by crushing down the top section to clear the top frame.
